Affiliate marketing is basically referring people to their companies to purchase goods and services of which you receive a commission. All large and successful companies offer Affiliate programs. Once you sign up for their program they provide you with links to their site which you place on your site or any other advertising medium, which contains a unique identifier which helps them keep track of the number and value of sales that your referrals are generating.
